Labor and delivery story: My water broke at 9:45 pm on Thursday, which is Micah's actual due date. I initially wanted to have an all natural labor and after 12 hours of 5 min contractions without Epidural, I did not dilate. I decided to get pitocin which makes me have contractions every 2 minutes so I also got the epidural. Micah was incredibly strong and had steady heartbeats through it all. After about 20 some hours later and 2 hours of pushing, Micah was born! He cried for a few seconds and was incredibly peaceful and healthy.
Jason and my mom was in the labor and delivery the whole entire time, they were incredibly supportive, encouraging, and loving. I am incredibly thankful to have both of them there helping me get through it all. I love you both very much.
Lee Yu Long is Micah's Chinese name, Yu means Jade and Long means dragon. Aunt Ying and my mom chose this name for Micah.
Lee Yong Jun is Micah's Korean name, Yong meaning dragon, Jun means handsome.
