Oakland zoo visit

 I was so excited to go to Oakland Zoo with Mama, Daddy, and Po-Po. 

                                                               

 

Afterwards the Zoo closed down and then they had Zoo lights! I went on my first Choo Choo train ride! We saw wallabys while we were on the train! I loved it! The lights were so beautiful !

Mama and Daddy dressed me up to take a picture with this guy. All I did was stare at him and was confused on what's going on! 

I didn't smile taking a picture with Santa but definitely smiled taking a picture with Mama! 

Gymboree for Micah: My social little man

Mama signed me up for Gymboree for a month and a half only because they had such a good deal! I have been loving the three times a week I get to go! When Mama has work, Po Po takes me! I'm really social, I like to go up to other children and open my mouth to say hi! Daddy can't wait to have a Tuesday off so he can come too!

 

 

Micah's First Christmas Tree

Oh how Mommy loves the holidays! Daddy got Micah his first Christmas tree and now Micah always says "Ooo" every time he sees the star on top of the tree! 

       
  

   

Micah's first Thanksgiving 2012

Daddy deep fried 2 turkeys this Thanksgiving! 

Everyone loved the Turkeys! Including me! I enjoyed my first taste of turkey! 

Wang Haraboji is so strong ! 

I'm so happy my great Aunt and great Uncle came to join us!

Slowly recovering & 9 month pictures

 

I am 9 months old!! I have learned to cry out for Mama when I need her =)

After the viral infection, I have been slowly recovering. It took over 2 weeks and I'm still not the same active baby I used to be but we thank God that I am starting to crawl and giggle again! 

Micah's first illness (Roseola @ 8.5 months) =(

I got a really high fever so Mommy, Daddy, and PoPo took me to the ER (my first ER visit) My fever was 104 degrees. The stupid ER doctor sent us home with an ear infection and told us to give me antibiotics, ear drops, and Daddy and Mommy gave me tylenol. The following day we followed up with my new Pediatrician and I liked her, she was nice. She said that I had a really mild ear infection. She said my fever was not due to an ear infection. She also called me gorgeous the whole entire visit. She told us to do a blood test and a urine test. They took 3 vials of blood from my little hand!! Mommy said I was crying so hard. Mommy and Daddy felt so sad, they said that they have never heard me cry so much before. 

The tests all came back normal so my pediatrician thought it could be a viral infection and she mentioned Roseola. She said I might break out into a rash and so the next day Saturday, I sure did break out in a little rash. On Sunday the rash had spread all over my body, when Mommy called the on call nurse, they told Mommy to take me to the ER again. At the ER they took 2 more vials of blood and put me on an IV for over 1.5 hours. They said I was dehydrated from all the diarrhea I have been having from the night before. 

Mommy says: It's really hard to see her little baby go through so much hurt and pain. Not only I wasn't able to tell her how I was feeling, she also wasn't able to do anything to help me. This illness broke Mama's heart =( It has been over a week since I got this viral infection and I am still not the same happy, active baby. Mommy says I'm still very weak and I don't crawl like I used to. Mama and Daddy prays everyday for me to get better. Many of Mama and Daddy's friends and family came to visit me and asked how I was doing. Thank you for all the unconditional love.

Micah's 8 months & First Halloween!

Micah is 8 months old- October 18th! 

Can't believe our little guy is 8 months old already!

Micah's first visit to the Zoo

First time I went to a fair, thank you Auntie Natalia for coming with me and thank you Daddy for suggesting to take me to a fair! 

I have been brushing my teeth every morning with just a teeny bit of toothpaste. Mama keeps reminding me to keep my two bottom teeth clean! 

Mama took me to a story time at the library but realized it was a bit too old for me, I can't wait to go to baby/toddler story, music time! 

 This Sunday was family fun day! Daddy and Mommy took me to Happy Hollow Zoo and we became an annual member! I'm excited to come here more often this year! 

There is a huge climbing structure with mountain of rocks!

Mama and Daddy always sings and read all about barnyard animals and I got to see them all today! 

My first time on a merry-go-round, too bad Mommy gets dizzy !
